Our first day of classes is Monday August 31, 2026, and the school office is open to parents on Aug. 27, 2026.
Designated Entrances and Exits
All students will have assigned doors for entry and exit and directed movement in
the building.
- Grade 1 Front Entrance
- Grade 2/3 Compound Doors (gate will be opened)
East Compound Door
West Compound Door - Grade 4/5 South West Door
Kindergarten Staggered Entry

School Supplies
Student supplies are provided by the school for children in kindergarten through grade 5.
Personal Supplies from Home
Students will require the following items from home:
- Full-size backpack
- Lunch kit and water bottle – taken home each day for cleaning
- Two healthy snacks (nut-free)
- Enough food for lunch that your child can access without support
- Change of clothes/socks and plastic bag (for our youngest learners)
- Indoor shoes (appropriate for PE activities and can be put on themselves)
- Weather-appropriate outdoor clothing for outdoor PE and outdoor learning activities
The school provides supplies for learning; items such as pencils and notebooks do not need to be purchased in advance. We kindly ask that students refrain from bringing personal items to school as these are often lost, misplaced or create disruption. If an item is a supportive tool (i.e. fidget) please discuss this beforehand with your child’s teacher. We also have a supply of fidget items that can be given to a child along with coaching about appropriate use.

Keep updated on field-trips and other exciting off-site activities throughout the year. We're excited to expand on learning opportunities by stepping outside of the classroom.

Student Absences
If your child is going to be late or absent from school due to illness, medical/dental appointments and/or even a family holiday, please let us know by contacting our student absence line at 403-777-8511 ext. 1 and leave us a message. Please spell the students' last name, give their teachers name and the reason for the absence. Learn more!
Student Pickup
You must notify the school no later than 3 PM Monday - Thursday for student pick-up, and 1 pm on Fridays. If we are not notified before this time we can not guarantee that we will be able to locate your child.
