Muchas gracias a nuestro equipo de padres- Eugene Coste School Council
Last night our School Council Events Team hosted our annual Fiesta de Verano.
Thank you to all volunteers, families and students for helping us to celebrate our Spanish Bilingual program! Our community enjoyed a wide range of activities such as:
- Food trucks
- Games
- Crafts
- Market
- DJ
- Scavenger hunt… and more!
These events are impossible without the extra time dedicated to planning, connecting with vendors, setting up and tearing down. We are lucky to have you
Eugene Coste Swag – Get ready for next year!
One of the vendor’s at last night’s Fiesta, Summarized Designs, showcased upcoming school swag for the new year. We will be introducing full colour logo shirts, zippable hoodies, and an inclusive-take on our “Se amable”/ “Be Kind” shirts with a new rainbow coloured text . T-shirts and pullover hoodie designs are still available. If you are curious about school shirt or hoodie options, check out the link to our “swag store” on our website. More updates are coming up, so check back!

My Child Takes the Bus
Thank you for working with your child to remember expected bus behaviour in order to support a safe ride home (stay in your assigned seat, stay seated at all times, appropriate volume of voice, be kind).
As we have done in previous years, if your child normally takes the bus home but you will be picking them up, please meet us at the bus zone so that we can check in with you to confirm attendance. If you are picking up early or if there is a regular pick-up schedule at the bus, please call our office before 2:30pm so that we can add that information to our bus lists and avoid after school confusion.
Ongoing Fundraisers
LABEL, LABEL, LABEL! We have an ongoing fundraiser through Mabel’s Labels. Twenty percent of all sales come back to the school to go towards enrichment opportunities for our students. Visit www.mabelslabels.com and find the “Support a Fundraiser” link, select “Eugene Coste Enrichment Society”. | |
| MAKING SOME “DOUGH” When shopping at Willow Park, mention Eugene Coste School before paying and a percentage comes back to the school. |
What if I still have questions?
Please know that you can call our office directly at 403-777-8511 for general questions or emergent concerns. Your first point of contact regarding specific questions about learning or the classroom continues to be your child’s teacher. E-mail does work best in most cases as teachers are unable to respond to phone calls during the day while teaching. Most questions can be resolved through a phone call or e-mail.
Complex concerns that require meetings with teachers can also be accommodated before and after school either through MS Teams or in person. We kindly request that after school meetings are not booked later than 4pm. Sra. Jackie and Sra. Riquelme are here to provide additional support whenever it is required! We work together to ensure a positive experience for all of our learners!
Sincerely,
Sra. Andrea Riquelme
