Estimadas familias,

Esta semana ha sido corta! What a wonderful stretch of learning days it has been at our school!  We are proud of our students and the energy, curiosity, and joy they bring each day. As teachers participate in professional development on February 12 and 13, 2026, we look forward to the new learning they will bring back in support of student learning.

Our teachers are always looking for fun ways to bring curriculum alive. This month some classes engaged in various field trips allowing students to explore new places, ask thoughtful questions, and make meaningful connections to their learning.  These experiences help bring curriculum to life and build lasting memories; we appreciate our teachers for organizing these and our parent volunteers who take time out of their busy days to make this possible.

Jersey Day was another fantastic moment of school spirit! Seeing students proudly wearing their jerseys reminded us of the importance of teamwork, perseverance, and cheering one another on, values we practice every day in our classrooms and on the playground.

Many classes have also been feeling the Olympic spirit. Students have been learning about goal setting, resilience, and celebrating effort as much as achievement. It has been inspiring to see students encourage each other, try new challenges, and show kindness and sportsmanship.

Our grade 4/5 students participated this week in the Alberta Education Assurance Survey, this is an opportunity for our school to receive feedback and set direction.  As we begin to plan for next year, we ask that you complete the confirmation of attendance survey to support our planning for next year.

Thank you to our families for your continued support and partnership. Together we are creating a school community filled with hope, belonging, and excitement for learning.

 Con gratitud,
