¡Qué semana más corta! We had a short yet busy week of learning. Remember that we have no school for students Feb 13-14 due to Teacher's Convention and that Monday is Family Day. We look forward to welcoming students back to school on Tuesday February 18.

We have some important updates about our school office to share with you. Our expert administrative secretary Sra. Toy will be away for a short term leave starting on February 19. We will welcome Sra. Janet Gerbrandt in her place for daily office coverage. Additionally, we would like to introduce you to Sr. Frank Tuff who will provide office administrative support each morning. I would like to thank Sra. Tanya Jasper for providing consistent coverage in the office since the fall. Sra. Tanya will continue in her role as our lead lunch supervisor and will also remain in the office to provide transition support to both Sr. Frank and to Sra. Gerbrandt until March 20.

While we transition staff in the office, it is of utmost importance to communicate student absences, lates or early pick-ups in a timely and consistent manner.

  • Please inform us of absences or late arrivals using our absence line (403-777-8511, select 1)
  • Any pre-planned absences (vacations) can also be called in using the absence line and also by e-mailing your child's teacher. 
  • If you are planning to pick up your child early, please call the office as early as possible so that we can ensure your child is ready for you. 
  • As always, if you have questions or concerns about your child's learning or classroom activities, your child's teacher is your first line of communication. Sra. Jackie and I are also available for support for any needs beyond the scope of the classroom.

Thank you for your patience while we work through our changing office environment and for welcoming new staff to our team.
