Estimadas familias

Thank you to those of you who were able to join us for our afternoon residency sharing with Garth Prince. We know that accommodating daytime events is not always possible and we are grateful for your patience and understanding. The students did a phenomenal job of demonstrating their learning. Thank you once again to our EC Enrichment Society for funding this, and all other residencies, as well as to Srta. Jenn for being instrumental in planning and organizing this experience for all students.

Our Calgary Food Bank bins are filling up nicely and there is still time next week to send a donation to school with your student. We are proud to provide much needed support at this time of year.

Online Conference Booking

The online conference booking system is available for parents to book a 15 minute VIRTUAL session with their child’s home room teacher. Please book with MyCBE. Due to scheduling constraints, we can only accommodate one 15 minute meeting per student. For students supported with an Individual Program Plan (IPP), please note that we did not originally plan to book separate meetings to formally update goals at this time, as that would not have been part of Student-Led Conferences. If you require additional time, please connect directly with your child’s teacher to arrange for an alternate arrangement in support of the IPP.

  • You can learn more about our School Development Plan (SDP), Budget & Fees by reviewing the presentation posted on our website at: School Planning Engagement
  • Then, please complete the survey
  • You can also choose to attend our School Council meeting on Tuesday March 18 starting at 6:15pm, where we will walk you through our presentation

Your input is important to us, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your perspectives.

Personal Items In School - Reminder

An increasing number of toys and personal items are arriving at school. These create unnecessary distractions to learning and can cause conflict between students. Please remind your students to leave personal items at home. If something is needed to support a long bus ride, then it must remain in the student’s back pack. School staff is not responsible for any lost or stolen items that continue to be brought to school.
