Estimadas familias,
Welcome to the May long weekend! I cannot believe we have already arrived to the final stretch of the 2024-2025 school year. This week our Grade 5's enjoyed a tremendous experience of 3 nights at Camp Chief Hector. What a treat for them! Our grade 3's also did an amazing job of demonstrating the richness of land and place-based learning practices during a full day walking trip to South Glenmore Park. Even though it seems like the school year is winding down, the learning continues!
Thank you, as always, for reviewing communication that flows from the school. This week's newsletter is focused on quite a few initiatives coming up from our Eugene Coste School Council and Enrichment Society. Speaking of these 2 great parent-led groups, our final School Council & EC Enrichment Society meetings for this school year are taking place next Thursday May 22. Your active participation and engagement in our collaborative work together truly makes a difference. We look forward to connecting with you then. You will find a link to our virtual meeting as well as agendas for both Council and Enrichment in a separate message that will come to you early next week.
Camp Chief Hector – A fulfilling experience for everyone
